rss2newsletter is a minimalist Python command-line tool that converts RSS or Atom feeds into automated email newsletters. It integrates with listmonk (a self-hosted email marketing platform) and Amazon SES to send emails at a fraction of the cost of services like Mailchimp. The tool polls a configured feed at a set interval, detects new entries, creates campaigns in listmonk using a customizable HTML template, and sends them to subscribers. It supports OpenGraph metadata for automatic content image extraction, customizable email subjects, and a dry-run mode for testing.
