## Description

Owlistic is a self-hosted notetaking and todo application built with Flutter (frontend) and Go (backend). It provides a WYSIWYG rich text editor for creating formatted notes, organizes notes into notebooks with a tree structure, supports inline todo items within notes, and synchronizes changes in real time across devices using NATS. The app includes JWT-based authentication with role-based access control, a trash bin for deleted items, dark and light themes, and markdown import. It can be deployed via Docker Compose (recommended), Docker, Kubernetes with Helm charts, or as a standalone binary. The backend requires PostgreSQL for data storage and NATS for real-time messaging. The project is licensed under GPL-3.0 and is under active development with pre-1.0 releases.
