## Description

Mikochi is a lightweight remote file browser for self-hosted servers and NAS devices. It provides a web UI to explore remote folders, upload and create files and directories, rename and remove items, download files and folders as tar.gz archives, and create streaming links that work with VLC or mpv. The frontend uses Preact and the backend uses Go with Gin. You can deploy it via Docker, a Kubernetes Helm chart, Debian/Ubuntu .deb packages, Fedora/RHEL .rpm packages, or a pre-compiled binary. Configuration relies on environment variables for the data directory, login credentials, TLS certificates, and the listening address. Authentication uses a single username/password pair with JWT tokens; there is no built-in LDAP, OIDC, or SAML support. The project is MIT licensed.
