## Description

Metorial is an open-source identity and access layer that connects AI agents to external systems through the Model Context Protocol. The metorial repository holds its integration catalog, covering SaaS tools, enterprise systems and custom MCP servers, while the companion Metorial Platform repo contains the engine you can run yourself. It centralises OAuth and API-key credential handling, adds RBAC, SAML SSO and per-agent scoped permissions, and keeps audit logs that trace every action back to the acting agent and the credential owner. Developers use TypeScript or Python SDKs, complete API coverage, or a single Magic MCP URL that works with clients such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, and can test servers in an embedded MCP Explorer inside the dashboard. Self-hosting means deploying the Metorial Platform stack: a TypeScript/Bun core, a Go MCP engine, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB and Docker for containerised MCP servers. A hosted platform offers a free Dev plan, paid Scale plans and enterprise options such as on-prem deployment.
