## Description

Maple is an observability platform that gathers telemetry through OpenTelemetry and stores it in ClickHouse. It offers a unified dashboard for exploring traces with span waterfalls, searching structured logs, building metric dashboards, viewing live service maps, grouping errors with triage workflows, and configuring alerts that notify chat platforms, email, or webhooks. An MCP server allows AI agents to query telemetry directly. The software runs as a single binary with embedded ClickHouse for local development, a Docker container for simple server deployment, or a full Docker Compose stack with PostgreSQL and an OTel collector for production. The source uses the Functional Source License (FSL-1.1), converting to Apache 2.0 after two years. The hosted cloud version costs $39/month with 100 GB per signal included.
