## Description

LobsterBoard is a self-hosted dashboard builder that lets you create custom dashboards through a visual drag-and-drop editor. It includes over 60 widgets covering system monitoring (CPU, memory, disk, Docker, network), weather, time and productivity tools (clock, todo, pomodoro, notes), media and content (RSS, calendar, now playing), AI/LLM usage tracking for 15+ providers (Claude, Codex, Copilot, Cursor, Gemini, etc.), finance (stocks, crypto), smart home sensors, and layout utilities. A template gallery allows exporting, importing, and sharing dashboard layouts with screenshot previews. Custom pages extend the dashboard with full HTML pages and optional server-side APIs. Five built-in themes provide visual variety including a default dark theme. Real-time metrics are pushed to the browser over SSE so widgets update automatically. Remote server monitoring is supported via the companion lobsterboard-agent. The project runs as a single Node.js server (>=16) with no build step, saving configuration to a local config.json file. It is licensed under BSL-1.1 (non-commercial use only, converting to MIT after 2030).
