## Description

Jolimail is a self-hosted transactional email template manager that lets teams build and preview email templates in a browser-based editor using MJML. It was created as an open-source alternative to commercial services like SendGrid, Mailgun, Mailchimp, and Sendinblue, addressing concerns about cost, data privacy, and vendor lock-in. The application provides a visual template editor for non-technical users, stores templates in PostgreSQL, and works with any SMTP server including Amazon SES. It runs via Docker Compose alongside a fake SMTP server for testing and catapulte for email relay. The project uses a custom source-available license (JSAL) that restricts use for competing email products.
