## Description

InvenioRDM is a turn-key research data management platform that institutions can self-host to run their own data repository. It provides a complete solution for managing research data records, communities, review requests, and notifications through a modern web interface. The platform is built on the Invenio framework and offers a REST API, OAI-PMH harvesting, customizable metadata models with DataCite schema support, flexible file storage (local, S3-compatible, XRootD), DOI and DNB URN registration, and extensive authentication options including local accounts, OAuth (ORCID, GitHub, Keycloak, OpenAIRE), and SAML. It runs via Docker containers orchestrated by Docker Compose for preview deployments, or as a local development installation using the invenio-cli tool with containerized services (PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ). The software is used in production by large repositories like Zenodo and scales to millions of records.
