## Description

ht-mcp is a Model Context Protocol server written in Rust that gives AI assistants the ability to create and control headless terminal sessions through the ht library. It runs as a single standalone binary with no external dependencies, making it trivial to install via Homebrew, Cargo, or pre-built binaries for Linux, macOS, and Windows. The server exposes MCP tools for creating sessions, sending keystrokes, executing commands, capturing terminal snapshots, and listing or closing sessions. An optional web interface provides a live terminal preview on port 3618. It integrates with MCP-compatible clients such as Memex and Claude Code. The project is developed by Atlas Futures Inc. (memextech organization) under the Apache-2.0 license.
