## Description

FaynoSync is an open-source API server you host yourself to manage and deliver updates to cross-platform desktop applications. It works with popular updater frameworks including Electron (electron-builder), Tauri, Velopack, Sparkle (macOS), and Squirrel (Windows/macOS), plus a manual mode for custom clients. The server stores application builds in S3-compatible object storage such as AWS S3, Garage, MinIO, Google Cloud Storage, or DigitalOcean Spaces, and uses MongoDB for metadata with Redis for caching, rate limiting, and TUF task state. It provides a REST API for version checking, a web dashboard for managing applications and releases, multi-channel releases (stable/beta/nightly), staged rollouts with percentage-based canary deployments, The Update Framework (TUF) inspired metadata signing for security, built-in telemetry for update adoption tracking, crash and failure report collection, and team-based access control. Deployment is via Docker Compose (including MongoDB, Redis, and Garage S3) or from source with Go and Node.js. The default port is 9000.
