## Description

EGroupware is a comprehensive open-source groupware suite written in PHP that provides a complete digital workplace for teams and organizations. It includes modules for email, calendar, contacts, tasks, project management with Gantt charts, timesheets, CRM, team chat via integrated Rocket.Chat, video conferencing via Jitsi, document management with versioning, and online office editing through Collabora Online. The suite supports standard protocols including CalDAV, CardDAV, WebDAV, ActiveSync, IMAP, and SMTP for synchronization with mobile devices and desktop clients. It offers LDAP/Active Directory integration, two-factor authentication, Samba file server access, and remote desktop via Guacamole. EGroupware is available as a free Community Edition (CE) with core features and a paid Enterprise Line (EPL) adding advanced functionality like Kanban, audit logging, extended group management, eSync provisioning/MDM, and priority support. Installation is primarily via DEB/RPM packages on supported Linux distributions, with Docker Compose available for other platforms including Synology and QNAP. The software is developed and supported by EGroupware GmbH in Germany.
