## Description

Chaptarr is a self-hosted application for managing both audiobook and eBook libraries together. As a Readarr fork, it specializes in tracking narrator names, edition details, and publisher data that typical media servers overlook. The program works with M4B files, MP3 chapters, and multi-part audiobooks, and can optionally turn MP3 collections into single chaptered M4B files. Users can keep audio and eBook files in separate root folders or merge them, while series grouping, language filters, and custom naming templates keep everything organized. Automation relies on the same download clients and indexers used by other *arr tools. Deployment is Docker-only on port 8789, with SQLite as the default database and PostgreSQL as an option. The codebase is GPL-3.0 licensed, still in beta, and maintained separately from the Servarr group.
