## Description

BudgE (pronounced 'budgie') is an open-source personal finance application that uses envelope budgeting with monthly rollover. It supports multiple users, standard bank accounts, credit cards with payment handling, tracking accounts, transaction export, and CSV import. The project is in alpha and the Docker image provided by LinuxServer.io is deprecated, meaning it will not receive updates. Users run it via Docker Compose or Docker CLI, exposing ports 80 and 443 for the web interface. Configuration uses environment variables for user/group IDs and timezone, with persistent data stored in a /config volume.
